Why did you become a therapist?

There are several reasons why I became a therapist, but most importantly it was because therapy allows me the opportunity to provide a safe, non-judgmental experience for clients to share their thoughts and feelings. It is a very special honor when someone trusts me enough to be vulnerable and honest to give me the best chance of understanding them and what they need.

What is your favorite motto to share with clients?

One day at a time, one hour at a time, one minute at a time, one second at a time.

What do your credentials stand for and what does it mean?

Licensed Professional Counselor/I am licensed by the State of Georgia to provide psychotherapy as form of clinical mental health treatment.

For Fun- What’s your favorite cartoon, and why?

The classic Disney Christmas cartoon, Pluto’s Christmas Tree because I love seeing Chip and Dale’s perspective of running around inside of the Christmas tree!
